You can help break down the barriers to education

Studying has become increasingly expensive. As you know, getting a degree can be very expensive, yet university qualifications can make a difference to the future careers of many students. Many students have to juggle part-time work or may not be able to pursue postgraduate study at all.Students also want to come to SOAS because of our specialist masters courses.

We want to raise five £5,000 bursaries for SOAS students studying LLM or MA Law - but we need your help to make it happen.

The ‘SOAS Law Alumni Bursaries’ will help alleviate the financial pressures of five excellent students studying at SOAS.

In recognition of your support, if you donate £500 or more, your name will appear on in the School of Law on a special donor board.

“Our alumni are among the very best lawyers and professionals around the world. Bursaries for postgraduate law students will ensure that we can continue to teach and support the very best students, regardless of their financial background. For the past few years, SOAS Law alumni have generously funded the SOAS Law Prizes. We hope alumni will also be involved in our bursaries. Thank you for supporting SOAS Law students.”
